Sunday cooking

Roasted red onion, red pepper, courgette and chilli.
+ tinned tomatoes, broccoli and baby corn.
Seasoned with salt, pepper and oregano.

Although this may look like a big pan of vegi slop it's actually pretty tasty stuff.
Perfect with noodles, rice, crusty bread or on its own as a chunky soup.

Birthday bling

Last week I went to Leeds city museum with Mark.
He used one of those coin printing machnines.
For my 20th he'd made it into a ring.
Sweet.

Early to bed, early to rise

This morning I woke up at the unholy hour of 5am.
Considering I have the week off for assesment this felt pretty dam early! Instead of rolling over I sprung up to see what the view looked like at this time. Well here it is.
Several hours of Jamie Oliver later... a much more familiar scene.
It's almost 12pm now and I feel much better for the early start. Give me a few hours, I might crash.

Cracked

I'm always wearing grey jumpers these days! Pretty much reflects the weather. Thought I'd try nails to match.
Rimmel 60 second grey matter, with Barry M cracked effect black - top coat.
I guess it's pretty cool, I can't help feeling it looks a little like dirt though!

Saturday 21st Jan - Part 2

Suprise!

After my meal with Mark we went over to my friend Jess'. It's my 20th Birthday on Jan 28th and so she asked if she could give me my gift a week early as she might not see me on the actual day.
When I got there her and a few of my highschool friends were hiding behind sofa's ready to jump out and suprise me. I had my suspitions she was upto something but I certainly was suprised.
We had a decent night at a local Leeds club. Roll on round2!

Saturday 21st Jan

Although this photo doesn't look much (Taken on my ancient Sony Ericsson) it was another fabulous meal, cooked by the better half.
I've deffinately fallen into the student stereotype lately, cooking the laziest,cheapest meals I can get my hands on.
I eat pretty well but it usually falls to Soup when I'm starving and short of time.
I adore Jamie Oliver's '30 minute meals' , I'm going to make it a resolution to be alittle more adventurous with cooking!

Last week my flatmate gave me an early birthday present. I needed sweet wrappers for a collage and she told me that I could have a gift early if it would help with my graphics project.

Christmas gift

My christmas present from Mark was a trip to London, tickets to iceskate on the last day of winterwonderland and a meal at 'The gate' vegetarian resturant. Wish I'd taken more pictures but the memories are wonderful. Happy new year all!

New nailpolish

Rimmel 60 Seconds 805 grey matter.
Matt colours don't seem to be as chip resistant. This one certainly didn't last as long as others in that range.
Added lines the day after using Art Deco black.
