Home sweet home

Going back to college is so hard after such a lovely long weekend.
I have my written exam tomorow, so most of today was spent preparing for that. The other half of the day was spent rushing round town purchasing facepaint for mamma. Shes volunteered to facepaint at the 'Royal Wedding street party' in our road :')
I think this should just about cover it.

















The boys are away so I decided make an experimental dinner.
Tomato, springonion and Philadelphia sauce to top.

Today's desert experiement was apple crumble.
I made a small trial dish for myself, using Pink Lady apples instead of Granny Smith's and added a cheap fruit mixture - raisins, orange peel etc.
It turned out pretty well. So i decided to make a larger one for dad and Matt.
Looks can be deceiving, because believe it or not, it was more than edible.
