I've Just recieved my critical studies exam results in the post. I'm glad it shows my abilty to write a half decent essay, and it's allowed me to reflect positively on the year.Its amazing to think that this time last year I was starting my first day at LCC. Joining the exhilarating world of the art foundation crack pots.
I can honestly say its been one of the most benificial years of my life(so far).
After deciding not to study Literature at university. I took a year to gain an foundation diploma in art and design before applying for a degree in graphic design.
While I was studying Theology, English and pyschology a-levels I never thought I would get there, but after enrolling in the college and completing my first assessment I knew it was within reach.
Deciding on a specialism has been the reasuring thing about choosing a creative path: combining photography, type design and illustration is everything I love. I have deffinately had my doubts and wobbles along the way but after several university interviews I've certainly grown in confidence.
I guess this blog is a combination of my creative outlets/thoughts, I'm glad that I've documented some of my journey, and hope that I can continue to produce the stuff that makes me happy.
