'Sorry I went to make food'
Warped
Quick idea for a postcard design.
I'm illustrating invisible cities by Italo Calvino
This image is based on a line about spiral staircases:
'When a man rides a long time through wild regions he feels desire for a city. Finally when he comes to Isidora, a city where the buildings have spiral staircases encrusted with spiral seashells, where perfect telescopes and violins are made'

The way home
I took a few photos on my way home from uni.
My favourite things. Let me explain.
Cow Sticker: Who doesn't love some nice pink udders on a signpost?
Floor6: I live on floor 8 and insist on taking the stairs. When I see this sign I know I'm nearly there
Fish!: The best piece of graffiti around these parts
53Mailbox: I loveee getting mail!

John Cage
'If something is boring after two minutes, try it for four.
If still boring then eight.
Then sixteen...
then thirty-two.
Eventually one discovers that it is not boring atall.'

This week + nails
Since as I havn't updated in a week, I thought I'd do a few posts.
Today's nail art is bling inspired. Using 'Golden Treasure' nail polish from H&M and 'Art Deco - White' from the pound store.
Its been a pretty good week.Visiting lectures from Ultimate holding company - Wednesday and Jonathan Hodgson(Animator/illustrator) - Friday.
My flatmate had her 20th Birthday this weekend, so a few of us celebrated in our student kitchen with music and a fair amount of alcohol.
Was pretty hungover Saturday morning, but cured by Crumpets me and Mark went to Visit the Royal Armories museum. Orginally we planned to check out a comic convention but when we got there weaponary seemed like a better chocie. There was some fantastic stuff in there and the building itself was pretty impressive.
Ended the day with a pub tea and Peepshow.
My Sunday night will probably consist of washing, ironing and polishing off this bottle of cloudy lemonade.
(Royal Armories pics to come...)

Sunday
Once it goes 12am I will have made it a week without sweets. The first/second day I couldn't cope with lack of sugar, now I'm shocked to say that I might not revert back to my sugar fueled ways. I feel much better for cutting them out and my teeth aren't hurting anymore.
I still be adding a cheeky bit of silverspoon to my coffee of course!
The week has really flown by. I have just over a month in uni before I break up for christmas :O
Most of my deadlines are December 5th so I'll really have to get cracking on my poster and city book.
Tonight I've been far too chilled. Listening to Cypress hill and drinking Pepsi. I've got an early tutorial tomorow morning so tonight's going to be a late one I think.
Went to the German christmas market with Mark today, Its full of little wooden gifts, christmas deccorations, German wheat beer <3, pretzels and crepes. The smell of mulled wine was heavenly I felt like a theif just inhaling all the different smells, crepes, melted chocolate etc.
It's on for about a month so I'll deffinately pop down again, do abit of christmas shopping and take a few pictures.
