Meal time

Along with all the beer, icecream and eating out I had time to make a few dishes of my own. Nothing special but certainly a nice change from pizza and paella.

Delightful

Spanish petals

Sepia-ish

Palms

L'escala

Beautiful weather, beer and bikes.

Hype

Mamma's size 16 dress. Brothers 50p sunglasses. £1.50 Tesco sandals.

Home sweet home?

Well I'm back! Landed in Manchester yesterday afternoon and went to see the better half last night, it was strange putting jeans and a jacket after shorts and bikini combos.
I had he most relaxing time away but after 10days of spanish pop I was glad to hear the familar vibes of Radio1.
I will deffinately miss sun, sand and sangria. Todays 8hour shift certainly gave me a 'back to reality' feeling.

Packed

Its 5:30am and we leave for the airport in an hour. I've just finnished packing and in all honesty I'm a little hungover.
Staying just over an hour from Barcelona, I'll certainly be taking a day trip there.
Can't wait for sun, sea, sand. Holiday snaps ahoy!

Chow for now. See you in 10days :)

Glam

My fixation with nasty cheap sweets should probably stop but I just couldn't resist this Glam bar.
Because girls love pink and sparkles right?
Novelty.

Peacock

I plan to start doodling again when I go away. Havn't picked up a pencil in too long!

Runaway van

Its been one of those days were I just want to get away. I saw this van in the park a few days ago and had to snap it.
It's the kind of vehicle that could carry a surfboard a little gas stove and a few canvas'.
One day I'd like to drive towards the sea. Camp out under the stars and just stay for a while.

Market stalls and push bikes

There should be more of these!

'When I see an adult on a bicycle, I do not despair for the future of the human race' - H.G. Wells

I get the same feeling when I see someone cross over from Tesco and buy an orange from an outdoor stall.

Haircut?

£4 Fix

<3 15 cans of the good stuff!
I couldn't go a day without Diet Coke a couple of years ago.
I hope this isn't the start of a relapse

Sibling, subway and sun

Going to Spain on Saturday with my dad and younger brother so me and Matt went to Liverpool to get some last minute things. The weather was good enough for sunglasses (Even if I do look like a spanner) Went to Oxfam to get some books. There was so much choice, I decided to come another day and left with Stepbrothers on dvd.
Took a walk to the top of L1 shopping centre, they now have their own beach and rollarcoaster - much to my amusement.

Tasty Suedes

One of the good things about working in a shoe shop is window shopping all the new stock when it comes in. I spotted these bad boys and ordered them within the week to be delivered to store.
Came the next day, free delivery. Pretty neat. I think I might have burgundy fever at the moment.

Fresh!

I'd forgotten how good fresh pineapple is. Its so much better than the tinned stuff. Sensitive tongues beware though!

Decided to do abit of washing by hand while the washing machine was in use. Supprisingly therapeutic.
Mod cons arn't always the answer.

Rach's reck

My attempts at 'cooking' are often leave alot to be desired.
After a wonderful risotto the night before, I resorted to peas, sage and onion stuffing with parmesan and a bottle of Leffe.

Handy tip. Don't have a cork: end of an old carrot works just aswell.

Mark's masterpiece

White wine risotto with cargrilled orange pepper, peas and lighty fryed potato.
I'm so lucky to have a boyfriend that can cook. Not only cook, but cook really well.
Tending to my vegi needs. Beautiful!

Tranquility

I'm not much of a candle person to be honest. After dropping my new top over a big scented candle and burning my carpet with an incense cone I generally stayed away from the flame, But last night I really needed to chill out andI must say these little tealights really worked (:
