Paints & photographs. Cans & creativity

Trust me to suddenly get into the swing of things at 11.40pm, 3 cans down.
I doubt I'll sleep until 2am, my bodyclock is out of whack.
Flicking through my 'useful box' i came across more of my grandpa's old photos. Most of them are up on my wall, I look at them for inspiration when I'm feeling unmotivated.
The photographs I found are ones I havn't seen in awhile, cars, boats, planes, that sort of thing.
I don't know whether its because they are so vintage looking but I think they are absolutely fabulous. Maybe we've lost something in the digital age? You can upload photos in a matter of seconds, adjust the brightness, contrast etc, somehow I think there is less skill involved. I'd like do things the oldschool way, darkroom etc, instead of snapping away aimlessly, compliling 200 photos and finding one thats worth edditing.

I wish my grandpa was still alive. There is so much I would ask him.
